How to flight to Dahab?
Airports
The closest airport is Sharm El Sheikh (SSH) — about 1 hour’s drive from Dahab. Dahab does not have its own airport.

How to search for flights
You can check flights using popular search engines like:
• Skyscanner
• Google Flights
• Kayak or Chartershop
• eSky or Azair (for low-cost options)
• Directly on airline websites like WizzAir, Ryanair, easyJet, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa
• Or tour operators like TUI, Rainbow, SkyUp
Make sure to search for “Sharm El Sheikh” as your destination.
Types of connection
1. DIRECT FLIGHTS
• From Poland (e.g. Warsaw, Katowice, Kraków) — mostly charter or low-cost airlines.
• Most direct flights are available in winter season — often through travel agencies (you can sometimes book a flight only, without hotel).
2. CONNECTING FLIGHTS
• Many European cities offer connections via Istanbul (Turkish Airlines), Zurich (Swiss), Cairo, or other major hubs.
• These can be comfortable but check layover times
3. LOW COST + LAND TRANSFER
• Sometimes it’s cheaper to fly to Hurghada and take a bus or private transfer to Dahab (about 8 hours).
• Another option is flying to Cairo and continuing by land — though it’s a longer journey (8–10 hours).
What to check before booking
• Does the ticket include checked baggage? (Low-cost airlines often don’t)
• Do you have enough time between connections, if not flying direct?
• Arrival/departure times — doesn’t matter too much; taxi prices are the same day or night.
• IMPORTANT! > Passport validity — it must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date to Egypt!
